AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that breaks traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Revealed
According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.
The adventure centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to numerous items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
